Intended for long-term (up to 3 days) introduction of medicinal substances into peripheral veins of the patient. Flexicath, Flexicath Lux , Flexican. Sizes G14-26.
- Catheter has a Radio Opaque line (except for Flexicath Luxe) ensuring easy visualization of intravenous position
- Minimal distance from catheter’s tip to the bevel of needle and thinwall catheter design ease insertion
- Catheter is close-bodied to the needle and minimizes the risk of needle stick injuries
- Transparent blood return chamber enhances flashback visualization
- Additional port for bolus dosing in the process of infusion
- Teflon coating reduces the risk of thrombophlebitis
- Valve and port shield prevent contact with patient’s blood
- Wings allow to fixate catheter firmly and eliminate the possibility of wildcat removal
- Catheter Flexicath Luxe is fabricated from Polymer SYLEX, that significantly reduces the risk of phlebitis nascency
- Sterile, for single use
- Fabricated from fluoropolymer with Teflon coating
- The needle is made from firm surgical steel
- Cannula and additional port are color-coded according to the EN/ ISO system
- Inner needle with blood return chamber and Luer lock adapter has a triangular grinding, that minimizes patient’s discomfort
